It is no secret that the key to having clear skin is intermittent fasting combined with a low inflammation diet.
The problem is that it is so difficult to keep a restrictive diet.
I will preface this by saying that low to no carb is the best option if you want to completely clear your skin. But if you feel you absolutely need some carbs to function (me currently), then I have a miracle food for you.
Replace as many carbs and processed foods as you can with pure sweet potatoes.
Most supermarkets sell these sweet potatoes already diced and chopped. This makes preparing the potatoes ridiculously easy:
Simply put a few handfuls of the chopped sweet potatoes on a baking tray. Add olive oil and salt. Place in the oven and bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes (better if you don't preheat).
Please do not simply microwave the sweet potatoes if possible. Take the extra 30 minutes to prepare yourself a decent meal the right way. You, your body, and your skin deserve it.
Have these sweet potatoes for breakfast, and take some in Tupperware to work for the rest of the day.
As an aside, I love sweet potato chips to snack on, even though they are not quite as healthy.
